Gingersnaps was born out of a deep passion for fashionable children’s wear. Fashion is exciting, ever changing, constantly evolving. Trendy, global, fashion-forward – we believe this is what children’s wear should be. With the convenience of travel and the fact that we live in an era where consumers are more global and discriminating, children’s retail, must now meet this demand. Retail must be elevated to a total experience, not only with the regards to the products, but with the store setting, service, packaging and visual merchandising as well. With this thought, our concept was born.
Gingersnaps is the leading brand for children’s wear in the Philippines. From our modest beginnings in 1994 as a single corner in a department store, we have grown to 31 boutiques and 25 department store corners in the prime establishments nationwide.
Today, we have boutique stores and department store corners in Thailand, Singapore, Malaysia, Indonesia, Saudi Arabia, and UAE. The next few years will see us bringing our concept to different regions from which we have been receiving numerous inquiries.
Gingersnaps operates from a fully set-up headquarters in Manila. Currently, we employ more than 200 highly motivated individuals whose backgrounds range from multi-national, export oriented and well-respected retail companies.
At the heart of our business is the design team consisting of graduates from the best arts and design schools in Manila and abroad. We have a strong Visual Merchandising Team that ensures that all our outlets reflect the character and the feel of a true Gingersnaps store.
